Riley Keogh had a great performance on Tuesday.
The actress, who is the granddaughter of the legendary Elvis Presley and the daughter of the late singer Lisa Marie Presley, was in fashion at Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2025 ready-to-wear show held in the nave of the Grand Palais in Paris. It surprised the audience. The week she appeared on the runway singing Prince’s “When Doves Cry.”
At the end of the show, Keogh performed in a black costume with a flowing cape and walked around a large birdcage in the center of the runway. According to Chanel, the birdcage is a nod to Gabrielle Chanel’s apartment at 31 rue Cambon in Paris, where she also had a decorative birdcage.
Then she went into the birdcage, sat on the swing in the middle of it, and continued her performance. She was suspended above the audience as models returned down the runway for a final look at the collection, which included chiffon capes, slit skirts, wide-cut pants and trench coats.
According to Chanel’s website, the collection was “an ode to freedom, delicacy, lightness and movement.”
Keough, a Chanel ambassador, previously showcased her singing talent in Daisy Jones and the Six, a hit limited series about young Chanel musicians based on the best-selling novel by Taylor Jenkins Reid. I’ve done it before. Her stardom began when she teamed up with an up-and-coming band called The Six.
Keogh played Jones in the series, which depicts the rise and fall of a fictional band set in 1970s Los Angeles. Sam Claflin and Suki Waterhouse also appeared. The role earned Keough a 2023 Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie.
