Kith Treats teams up with Apple Pan to celebrate iconic banana cream pie with Heritage Program
Kith Treats, the cereal-infused ice cream shop from luxury brand Kith, has teamed up with The Infatuation for a new collaboration that pays tribute to Los Angeles’ iconic Apple Pan as part of its Heritage program. The collaboration will see the launch of “The Slice,” a limited-edition ice cream inspired by Apple Pan’s famous banana cream pie. Following the event, the ice cream will be available at Kith Treats locations in Beverly Hills, West Hollywood and Malibu from August 29 to September 8.
Ike’s Love & Sandwiches and Smash Mouth celebrate 25 years of “All Star” with two Rock ‘n’ Sandwiches
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Smash Mouth’s hit song “All Star,” Ike’s Love & Sandwiches has launched two special edition sandwiches nationwide: the #167 “Smash Mouth” and the #1999 “Hey Now, You’re an All Star.” The “Smash Mouth” sandwich features bacon, cream cheese, and provolone cheese on Dutch Crunch bread topped with Ike’s Dirty Sauce, while the “All Star” sandwich is a spicy combination of halal chicken, bacon, red pesto, and pepper jack cheese. Ike’s founder Ike Shehadeh and Smash Mouth lead singer Steve Harwell were excited about the collaboration, praising their friendship and the band’s achievements. The sandwiches will be available for a limited time, and fans are encouraged to participate in Ike’s Rewards and follow the brand on social media for updates.
Love.Life Holistic Health and Wellness Club is now open
Love Life by John Mackey is a new holistic health and wellness club that has opened in El Segundo. The 45,000-square-foot spa and fitness center offers a wide range of amenities, including a spacious gym, holistic medical care, wellness therapies, plunge baths, and more. Throughout September, WeHo cocktail bar Holy Water will be offering Sing out, Louise!, a special cocktail that will donate $5 to Gay Men’s Chorus LA. The cocktail, which costs $16, is made with vodka, Campari, raspberry gum, syrup, lime and club soda and can also be made as a mocktail.
Halloween Horror Nights begins September 5th
Halloween Horror Nights kicks off at Universal Studios Hollywood on September 5. Guests can enjoy devilish snacks and drinks, as well as exclusive merchandise inspired by this year’s haunted houses and original shows. Halloween Horror Nights will take place on select nights from Thursday, September 5 to Sunday, November 3, 2024. The infamous doll will inject his self-deprecating sense of humor as he dominates late night in “Late Night with Chucky,” a completely original live talk show at the DreamWorks Theatre. The interactive attraction will allow guests to submit questions to Chucky via a QR code in the theater lobby, who will then answer them. Haunted houses including “The Weeknd: The Nightmare Trilogy,” “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire,” “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Legacy of Leatherface,” “Universal Monsters: Bloodlines” and “Monstrosities 2: Latin American Nightmare” will unleash the deepest fears in guests’ hearts and invite them to be sucked into a nightmare vortex once again with tempting treats and drinks.

Dog Haus, in collaboration with German brands Paulaner and Jagermeister, will celebrate Oktoberfest starting September 3. Special menu items include exclusive Oktoberwurst Bratwurst, Oktoberwurst Burritos, King Hawaiian Pretzel Bites and specialty drinks.
California Pizza Kitchen brings you Mike’s Hot Honey Cuisine
