Slough House fans will rejoice as Apple TV+ announces that its relatable spy series Slow Horses has been renewed for a sixth season.
The drama, based on Mick Herron’s hit novel, stars Gary Oldman as the difficult and slovenly Jackson Lamb, and also stars River Cartwright (Jack Lowden), Roddy Ho (Christopher Chan), who leads a group of MI5 rejects nicknamed the “Slow Horses”, including Luisa. Guy (Rosalind Eleazar) and Katherine Standish (Saskia Reeves).
Kristin Scott Thomas will also star as MI5 deputy boss Diana Taverner, alongside Jonathan Pryce, Amy-Ffionn Edwards, Ruth Bradley, Tom Brooke and Samuel West.
Previous seasons have starred Hugo Weaving, Joanna Scanlan, Thorpe Dilys and Olivia Cooke.
In Season 4, which had its season finale last week, Cartwright learns deeply personal news after a beloved member of the Slough House team meets a tragic end while on the run from a rogue CIA agent (played by Weaving). It turns out.
