Sophie Turner had a Gossip Girl moment over the weekend while attending a polo tournament at her aristocratic boyfriend Peregrine Pearson’s family mansion (gorgeous!) wearing some Serena van der Woodsen-approved designer accessories.
On Sunday, Turner was spotted at the British Open Polo Championships, held at the Gold Cup Final at Cowdray Park Polo Club, in a chic black and white pinstripe three-piece suit that matched a tailored blazer, plunging vest and shorts. She also accessorized with a thin gold belt, a slouchy trunk-style Louis Vuitton handbag, gold stud earrings and a few rings. But perhaps what caught the most attention about this entire outfit was Turner’s controversial choice of footwear. Turner teamed her outfit with head-turning black leather pumps with notches on both big toes and a white heel detail that resembled a deflated balloon.

She had shoulder-length blonde hair that was parted in the middle and straightened, while Pearson looked dapper in a gray suit, blue button-down shirt and matching patterned tie. The couple exchanged numerous affectionate displays throughout the game and presented prizes and trophies to the players.

Turner’s choice of designer won’t come as a surprise to fashion and pop culture watchers, as she is a longtime ambassador for the brand. In May, Turner attended the Louis Vuitton Cruise 2025 show in a utilitarian pink suit with an elasticated red belt and white pumps.
Turner and Pearson were first romantically linked in November 2023, a few months after she and ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas split. Jonas filed for divorce in September 2023, and the two former flames have two daughters, Willa and Delphine. After their public split, Turner’s friend (and Jonas’ ex-girlfriend) Taylor Swift rented her an apartment in New York City. In an interview with British Vogue, Turner called Swift her “hero.”
“Taylor has been such a hero to me this year,” Turner told the magazine. “There’s no one I’m more grateful to than her, because she took me and my kids in and gave them a home and a safe place. She’s such a kind-hearted person.”
