Stephen Baldwin has sent his congratulations to his daughter Hailey Bieber after she gave birth to her first child with husband Justin Bieber, despite the family feud.
The celebrity producer appeared on X on Friday alongside the “Sorry” hitmaker’s mother, Pattie Mallette, to praise the couple’s new baby.
“Congratulations @justinbieber & Hailey,” Mallett wrote, expressing his excitement in all capital letters. “Love you forever baby Jack!!”
A few minutes later, Baldwin, 58, added, “Amen. Congratulations. May God continue to bless our family.”
In July, Hailey revealed that she’s no longer “super close” with her famous family, telling her W magazine cover story that she feels the distance is because she’s “very independent.”
“I’m my own person now and I’m starting my own family,” the 27-year-old model added at the time, saying she still has “such fond and beautiful memories” of having a “pretty normal childhood.”
Soon after, her father appeared to respond to her public disdain, posting a selfie video in which he captioned Hailey’s comment.
“Today staying positive is a choice!! So I believe in the power of joy, peace, and happiness. And lastly, if no one has told you today 😘 I love you ❤️🔥,” he wrote.
Hailey and Justin, who were officially married at a New York City courthouse in 2018, announced the birth of their first child, Jack Bruce Bieber, on Friday.
The “Never Say Never” singer revealed the news in an Instagram post sharing a photo of the newborn’s tiny feet as he is seen being held by his wife.
“Welcome back,” he captioned the post.
The couple wed in a lavish ceremony in South Carolina in 2019, in front of family and famous friends, including Kendall Jenner and Jaden Smith.
Hailey and Justin first announced they were expecting a baby in May, along with some adorable photos from their intimate vow renewal in Hawaii.
At the time, Hailey wore a lace Saint Laurent gown and showed off her baby bump to the world.
