Tesla’s social media accounts in South Korea have been posting cryptic images of the number zero on their social media accounts for the past few days, but the Tesla community doesn’t seem to understand why so far.
Over the past few days, Tesla Korea’s Instagram and X accounts have posted multiple images of stylized designs featuring the number zero, and most can only speculate as to why. These posts were made in advance of Tesla’s “We, Robot” robotaxi unveiling event to be held on October 10th (or October 10th), and may be related to that, or Some have suggested it may be related to the company’s plans to launch supervised fully autonomous driving (FSD). Even in markets outside of North America.

At the moment, it’s not entirely clear why Tesla’s South Korean account is posting zero images, but it will probably become clearer in the next few days.
These posts started on Friday from both the company’s X account and Instagram Korea, but it is the company’s Instagram account that follows up with the second and third images. Only. Tesla’s release of FSD Supervised in countries other than Canada and the US has been teased fairly regularly in recent months, but nothing specific related to South Korea.
Elon Musk himself has said Tesla plans to get FSD approved in China by the end of the year, and reports say Tesla plans to test 10 vehicles equipped with the software ahead of a wider launch. It is suggested that. In late April, Tesla reportedly received preliminary approval for the software in China, and multiple small hints indicate the company is close to approving FSD in the European market.
Tesla will also hold a robotaxi unveiling event on October 10th at the Warner Bros. Studio Space in Burbank, California, but at this time similar images with the number 0 are not available on the company’s website other than the Korean account. It has not been posted to any social media accounts. .
In recent weeks, Tesla has ramped up data collection around Warner Bros. Studios and other California locations, believed to be related to upcoming announcement events. Last week, Tesla also sent out invitations to Teslati and others to attend the launch event, and also launched a referral giveaway where people who refer twice at the same time will be entered into a drawing to win tickets to the event.
Tesla’s Cybertruck also arrived in South Korea last week, presumably to be certified for use on the country’s roads, but it’s unclear how the images are related.
Tesla Model Y will be South Korea’s best-selling imported car in the first half of 2024
