It’s that time of the year again, when Shanghai’s lifestyle industry is celebrated with a lavish party.
Now in its 16th year, That’s Shanghai Lifestyle Awards has become one of the most prestigious nights of the year for Shanghai’s lifestyle industry, with thousands of votes cast among a huge number of nominees, and the winners being crowned at a stylish ceremony held at Fotografiska Shanghai in September.
From the finest boutiques and shopping destinations to the most luxurious spas and acclaimed art galleries, the nominees represent the best the city has to offer.
And just like every year, readers will be able to nominate their favorite gyms, yoga studios, hair salons, tattoo parlours, travel agencies and more, giving them the recognition they deserve.
How to vote
Scan the QR code below to follow us on WeChat and vote now.
Once you have added your account, send a message saying “Vote” and click on the hyperlink to enter the voting channel or tap on the “Vote” button at the bottom of the screen.
First, choose the category you want to vote for. Then slide down to see the nominees and vote for your favorite.
During the voting period (August 5th to September 1st), each individual/account can vote for one nominee in each of the 28 categories.

Flash Voting
In addition to the main voting site, we will also be running flash polls every day during the voting period (August 6 – September 1). You will only have 48 hours to vote for each flash poll, so cast your vote early.
Daily WeChat Flash votes will be tallied and awarded based on a weighted scale, with 50 votes given to 1st place, 25 votes to 2nd place and 10 votes to 3rd place.
These votes will be counted towards your total votes on the main voting site, so be sure to vote in both.
