What’s next for the CX-5?
The more rugged CX-50 got a hybrid option for MY2025, but the CX-5 continues to operate with just two engine options. Hybrid hopefuls won’t have to wait long: Mazda has confirmed that the next-generation model will get an electric drivetrain, meaning MY2025 could be the last for the current model, with the new model due to arrive sometime next year. In terms of options, Mazda isn’t offering any, although certain paint finishes are more expensive.
