There’s nothing cuter than a sleeping kitten. Many of us would happily spend a good portion of our day glued to that video because playing it on a loop triggers a release of endorphins that bring us happiness. Imagine the kitten in this scenario talking in its sleep. That’s even better. This is Mavis, a Siamese kitten. She is stealing hearts everywhere.
Full disclosure: This video isn’t as long as we would have liked, but Mavis’ sleepy conversations are absolutely adorable. Check her out!
Now, isn’t this the most amazing thing you’ve ever seen? Miss Mavis, rescued at just 5 weeks old, has always been a little fussy, and that’s what makes her so special. She didn’t let her tough start in life stop her from letting her personality shine through.
The video is aptly captioned, “Teacher Yap and her most iconic moments.”
This little girl is doing big things, we know it! Her legions of followers flock to these videos and support all the chat, rant, and non-stop talk she delivers. Masu.
One person said, “That child will be tired from working so hard to sleep.”
“Oh, someone’s feeding us at A Quiet Place,” joked another.
“I also have a Lynx Point Siamese so get ready for that all day lol,” another added.
Being the queen of talk is not easy, but Mavis makes it look so easy.

Siamese cats are naturally talkative.
If you ask someone to describe a Siamese cat, the first word they’ll probably say is “talkative.” That’s true. Siamese girls like Mavis, also known as “meezers” because of their high-pitched cries, can hold their own in conversation.
Incredibly vocal towards their parents and highly sociable, Siamese cats love being with their families and want lots of attention. Sure, they can be independent, but the basis of their breed relies on forming strong bonds with people. Ironically, they don’t always like to be held or cuddled.
According to Better Vet, Siamese cats are very active and playful, making them ideal for families with children, but their desire to be seen and heard makes them a good choice for those seeking a quiet, low-maintenance cat. Not optimal. That’s not a bad thing; it’s what sets them apart from other cat breeds.
So if you’re looking for a kitten who will talk to you day and night (even when she’s sleeping, like Mavis), a Siamese is the dog for you.
