One of the top 10 Prime Day 2024 deals was the Apple M3 MacBook Air, which was off by $150, and now some configurations are back from $850. Along with a few 15-inch models, which we’ll go into in more detail below, one of the most popular configurations in the lineup is the 13-inch variant with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB internal SSD. This model is currently discounted to $1,249.98 including shipping in all four colors, courtesy of Amazon. The regular price is $1,499, but that’s $149 off and within $1 of the lowest price ever for Prime Day. The deal also includes the 8GB variant, which is also within $1 of Amazon’s all-time low of $849.98 including shipping. That’s $149 off and just $50 more than the sale price of the previous-generation M2 model we’re tracking. The 16GB model is definitely one of the best options in the lineup for most people, and some might even argue it’s the best of the current generation of Apple laptops for those who don’t need a professional-grade machine, although the 8GB model is just as good at this price unless you’re hung up on the extra RAM.
The $149 price drop also applies to the 15-inch model today. The entry-level configuration with 8GB of RAM and a 256GB internal SSD has been reduced to $1,049.98 (including shipping), down from the regular price of $1,299. This special price joins the higher-end 16GB model ($1,449.98 including shipping), which also saves you $149.
The 13-inch deal we highlighted above is within a dollar of its all-time Prime Day lowest price, while these 15-inch options are currently the cheapest prices we’ve tracked on Amazon, including Prime Day offers.
Starting next month, much of Apple’s device lineup is due for a refresh, including the entry-level AirPods, the MacBook Pro, and possibly an iPad mini (finally!), but the M3 MacBook Air is still a relatively new machine and will likely hang on for a year before we see any upgrades coming out of Cupertino.
