Tiffany Trump has been in the spotlight since she was a little girl, which is to be expected for a celebrity family like hers. Unfortunately, fame comes with scrutiny, and her outfits are often analyzed in detail. When her father, Donald Trump, became president in 2017, even more attention was focused on Tiffany, and she needed fashion advice. “I don’t think she had any idea what she was doing,” stylist Philip Bloch told CNN. “My goal is to make her a fashion star. This is not about politics. She’s a girl who loves her father, and my job is to make her dreams come true. I’m creating a princess, a fashion star, that’s my goal,” he continued.

But working with a stylist isn’t always possible, as evidenced by some of Tiffany’s fashion faux pas: Though she’s regained her spark in recent years, we can’t help but feel some of the fourth child of No. 45’s fashion choices today are outdated.
Tiffany Trump welcomed 2020 into the world with a boring New Year’s Eve outfit
Did Tiffany Trump raid her mother Marla Maples’ closet? It certainly seemed that way when she dressed up for the end-of-year event at Mar-a-Lago. Instead of a glittering dress to wear on New Year’s Eve, Trump opted for a modest white floor-length gown with a black lace overlay. The Dar Sara High Fashion dress was no doubt very expensive, but seeing as Tiffany was in her late 20s at the time, we think it would have looked good on someone in their 50s.

Tiffany Trump appears as a showgirl
Tiffany Trump’s penchant for dated sparkly dresses seems to be in the cards. This time, she showed up to the 2019 amfAR Gala in Cannes in a nude dress with shiny silver accents. At the celebrity-studded event that included Eva Longoria and Kendall Jenner, Trump’s “fit” was more Las Vegas showgirl than French chic. Her diamond earrings with onyx accents were also rather old-fashioned and didn’t complement her yawn-inducing look.

Tiffany Trump’s Y2K Wide Belt
Come the millennium, Tiffany Trump’s oversized belt made a comeback. In 2019, Trump walked into the Taolei Wang fashion show wearing a skirt over her pants, digging out the accessories from her days of low-rise jeans. Wide belts were also in fashion back then, but thankfully, we’re back to wearing regular-sized belts. Unfortunately, Trump decided to bring it back, but we think her watercolor-print dress would have been just fine without the oversized leather belt.

Tiffany Trump was fashion-forward with her shirts
Button-up shirts tied at the waist were all the rage in the 1950s, adding dimension to a boxy figure, but Tiffany Trump totally failed at the all-black look. She wore a satin black shirt as a jacket over a fitted dress, but the result looked like it was just thrown on at the last minute. A leather jacket or a trendy bolero would have polished her look even more.

Tiffany Trump’s paint-splattered dress must date back to the early 2000s
In 2008, Tiffany Trump was about 15 years old and had yet to develop her own fashion sense. Although her parents were well-off, I wouldn’t be surprised if she shopped at Wet Seal or Delia’s like other teens of the time. I understand that Y2K fashion is making a comeback, but I hope she didn’t continue wearing that awful patterned multicolored dress. I doubt it will ever come back. Please also leave nude peep toe heels behind.

Tiffany Trump went all-in on Y2K fashion
Tiffany Trump and her mother, Marla Maples, had a matching moment in blue dresses at a pre-Oscars party in 2009. While we know red carpet fashion was more casual in the early 2000s, the pair looked more like they were wearing cover-ups for the beach than dressing up to impress. Trump’s shiny blue dress was typical of the fashion of the time, as were her platform sandals. Someone please go back in time and send her a stylist ASAP.
