Tom Brady reacted more to the news that ex-wife Gisele Bündchen is having a child with boyfriend Joaquin Valente than when the Falcons blew a 28-3 lead over the Patriots in Super Bowl LI. He may be “stunned.”
A source told Page Six that the football legend “never imagined” he would have a child with Valente.
“Tom knew things were serious between Gisele and Joaquin, but he never imagined they would have a child together,” a source told Page Six. “It just wasn’t on his radar. So when Gisele broke him the news, he was surprised to say the least.”
Brady, who only found out she was pregnant a few days ago, is “getting used to the idea and is happy for Gisele.”
News of Bündchen’s pregnancy first broke on Monday, after which TMZ reported that Bündchen is five to six months old and that the baby is due in early 2025.
“At the end of the day, Tom’s only concern is his children and his career. What Gisele decides to do with her life is really none of his business,” the source said. told Page Six.
Brady, 47, and Bundchen, 44, have a son, Benjamin, 14, and a daughter, Vivian, 11.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion has another son, Jack, 17, from his marriage to actress Bridget Moynahan.
Brady and Bündchen married in 2009 and finalized their divorce two years ago.
Bündchen started dating Valente in June 2023, while Brady briefly dated model Irina Shayk.
