Tyra Banks returned to the runway in a highly symbolic fashion after almost 20 years.
On October 15, Banks, 50, strutted down the runway to close out the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. The former “America’s Next Top Model” host wore a black bustier with crystal embellishments, sparkly leggings, a silver cape and strappy heels.
As she took to the runway, Ms. Banks cheered on her big comeback by blowing kisses and waving to her fans.
On Instagram, she shared a video of the moment and captioned it, “In case you forgot 💛.”
“Definition of ‘I still got it and never lost it’ ❤️🔥,” one fan commented.
Another said: “How can we forget?!!!!!!! I’m screaming!!!!!!!!”
A third added: “You looked so amazing 😍😍😍 You’re back like you never left.”
Banks took to Instagram to share several videos of herself getting ready to walk the runway.
In her Stories, she shared a video of someone doing her hair and said, “I’m going to get my hair done for God” on the runway.
The day before her appearance at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, Banks posted a throwback photo from when she modeled at the 10th Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 2005. That was the year Banks retired from modeling.
In her caption, she encouraged her fans to pursue their dreams.
“You’re never too young to… SMiZE. You’re never too old to dream,” she said.
“As you walk, think about your dreams, what you want to achieve. Things you wonder about yourself. Things you don’t know if you are confident enough to achieve. Never stop dreaming. But now is the time to take action. I understand this! 💪🏽 See you tomorrow,” she added. “💛Titi.”
