Victoria Monet made an enthusiastic appearance in red at the 2024 Time 100 Next Gala in New York on Wednesday. Styled by Colin Carter, Monet wore a Roberto Cavalli Spring 2005 draped dress.
This dress was originally worn by Isabeli Fontana on the Cavalli runway, and featured a dramatic drape and a thigh-high slit. The dress, with its open back, long train, and halter neck, resembled the Greek goddess Peplos.
In addition to the draping, the dress was gathered in several places, creating layers of texture throughout the dress. The neckline featured a collar-like necklace decorated with luminous tube beads.
To complete her look, Monet wore a statement Bvlgari Serpenti bracelet, ring, and silver Serpenti earrings. Her hair was tied up in a bun with large bangs.
The singer attended the gala and took home honors in the artist category alongside celebrities including Kaia Gerber, Sabrina Carpenter and Ashley Park.
Monet is promoting the deluxe edition of her latest album, Jaguar II, and was recently featured on the cover of Playboy magazine. The singer had a successful start to her career, winning the Grammy Award for Best New Artist for her debut studio album.
