All my friends are here.
On Monday, Vince Vaughn received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame along with his wife, Kayla Weber, and their two children, 13-year-old daughter Loughlin and 11-year-old son Vernon.
The “Dodgeball” actor, 54, posed for photos with his family at the ceremony, but the whole family rarely appears together in public.
In his heartfelt speech, Vaughn also spoke of his wife, to whom he has been married for 14 years, and his children.
“My beautiful wife, Kayla, I’m so glad you’re with me right now. I’m so grateful for you and these beautiful children and the laughs that we share together,” Vaughn said, dressed in a charcoal gray suit, white shirt and sneakers.
“Vernon and Locklyn, what all of this means is that I really need you to know that you are the most important people in the world to me,” he added.
“You guys don’t make as much money and you don’t give me access to the things that I get in this line of work,” the Wedding Crashers star joked about his kids, “But with that being said, you guys are the most important thing and I love you guys so much and I’m so glad you’re here with me.”
In an interview with Extra at the event, Vaughn spoke about how becoming a father has changed him.
“It makes me more patient,” he said, laughing. “I feel a love that I can’t put into words. We laugh a lot. We have a lot of fun. Every day with you two is so much fun.”
Vaughn married his wife Jennifer Aniston in 2010, four years after dating her.
On Monday night, Vaughn and Weber enjoyed a date night at the premiere of his new Apple TV+ show, “Bad Monkey.”
The couple took their children on a trip to the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles.
Vaughn wore a black suit and matching pants, while Weber wore a floor-length red dress.
Weber has long supported her husband’s career in Hollywood, and was famously seen on the red carpet with him at the season 12 premiere of “Curb Your Enthusiasm” in January, where Vaughn plays Freddie Funkhouser on the comedy show.
In “Bad Monkey,” which premieres Wednesday, Vaughn plays a former Miami police detective who stumbles upon a shocking case that may help him get back to work.
The show will be directed by Bill Lawrence, creator of Scrubs and Ted Lasso.
In addition to Vaughn, the cast includes Michelle Monaghan, Jodie Turner-Smith, Rob Delaney, Natalie Martinez and L. Scott Caldwell.
