Political commentator Brandon Tatum has argued that Kamala Harris will be “devastated” in the November election.
Tatum joined Mark Dolan to discuss current President Joe Biden’s decision last weekend to withdraw from the reelection race and what a historic moment it was in American politics.
Vice President Kamala Harris took over the Biden campaign, and her campaign said she raised more than $80 million (£62 million) in new donations in the 24 hours since Biden’s announcement.
“She’s going to be defeated on her own merits, just like she was in the 2020 presidential debate with Tulsi Gabbard,” Tatum said in an interview with GBN America.
He also argued that her immigration policies are not strong enough and that “Kamala and Biden are alike.”
The Trump campaign and its allies have made Harris’ handling of the border crisis one of their main attacks against her in recent weeks.

“We’ve never had so many people come into our country illegally, and the vice president who is supposed to be the leader on this particular sector and on this issue has spectacularly failed,” Tatum said.
“And she goes to the border, she doesn’t go to the border that has the most activity. It just seems to me that she’s not interested. She’s not interested.”
“She is laughing at Americans who fear being invaded by illegal immigrants and terrorists. It is not hard to draw the conclusion that terrorists are invading our country.”
“Look at the war going on in Ukraine. Look at the war going on in Israel. Do you think these people don’t want to have a part of America?”
“Millions of people are in the country illegally? We have no idea where they are or where they’re going.”

“And if we bring up the issue of sex trafficking and human trafficking that’s happening at the border, and young children being murdered and raped and sex trafficked here in the United States of America, what would Kamala Harris have to say about this?”
Harris was sharply criticized by the left for telling people considering migrating to the US “don’t come” in a June 2021 speech, adding that “if you come to our border, you will be turned away.”
The vice president also drew criticism for not visiting the border early in his presidency.
When NBC News’ Lester Holt asked Harris in an interview why she wasn’t visiting the border, Harris got defensive, telling Holt, “It’s all about the border.
“We’ve been to the border. We’ve been to the border.”
When Holt responded that Harris had never personally been to Europe, she said, “I’ve never been to Europe either,” and added, “I don’t understand what you’re talking about.”
She visited a border facility in El Paso, Texas, later that month.
