MUMBAI: If there is any actress who radiates timeless charm and vitality, defying age and all the odds in life, it is Shilpa Shetty. A yoga guru, she has been in the limelight for years as an expert health and wellness advocate. At the same time, she has established herself as one of Bollywood’s unmissable style icons.
Actress Shilpa set major ethnic fashion goals on Monday as she set the internet ablaze in a golden saree. Shilpa, who has 32.3 million followers on photo-sharing app Instagram, posted a picture in which she was seen wearing a sheer golden saree with beaded borders. She teamed it up with a matching sleeveless blouse with a sweetheart neckline.
For her make-up, Shilpa opted for glossy brown nude lips, gold eyeshadow, thick eyebrows and smoky eyes. She left her hair down straight. Shilpa accessorised the look with gold earrings and matching bangles.
The post was captioned as “GOLD #workmode #delhidiaries,” followed by a wink and sparkle emoji.
“Majestic and graceful,” one fan commented on the post, while another user wrote, “Golden Queen.”

Shilpa made her acting debut in the 1993 thriller Baazigar, directed by Abs Mustan and starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. She went on to star in films like Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Pardesi Babu, Dhadkan, Garv: Pride & Honour, Life in a… Metro, Hungama 2 and Nikamma.
Recently, she starred in Sonal Joshi’s comedy-drama ‘Sukhee’, which also stars Amit Sadh, Dilnaz Irani, Kusha Kapila and Pavleen Gujral.
Shilpa also played the role of Tara in Indian Police Force, produced and directed by Rohit Shetty and Sushwant Prakash. The series stars Siddharth Malhotra and Vivek Oberoi. She will next be seen in KD.
