Willow Smith brought her ’70s rock charm to a Detroit stage on Saturday, when the singer-songwriter opened for rapper-singer Childish Gambino, who is currently touring in support of his fifth and final studio album, “Stone and the New World.”
The daughter of actors Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith wore a pleated maxi dress by ASTR the Label. The form-fitting dress featured structured cap sleeves, a lined silhouette and a jewel neckline, which complemented Smith’s accessories.

As for accessories, she opted for layered pieces: She wore a choker necklace with layers of gold and silver gemstones and chains of various sizes, the colors of which matched Smith’s dress perfectly without taking away from the glamour of the outfit.
As for the rest of her accessories, Smith opted for a few delicate rings and small pieces that highlighted her nose piercing. The 23-year-old singer kept the glitz to a minimum, wearing her voluminous hair in a natural style – another homage to the ’70s – and kept her makeup clean and simple.

ASTR the Label was founded in 2012. The clothing brand features styles inspired by a California aesthetic.

When it comes to her own sense of style, Smith often draws inspiration from the past, putting a modern twist on Y2K and retro fashion. She’s one of many celebrities and A-listers bringing back some of the best trends. Along with Kelsea Ballerini, Jessica Alba and others, Smith put her own spin on Y2K style during an appearance on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” last May.
