Ya Na Abkari Andani II, ruler of Dagbon Kingdom
The Overlord of Dagbon Kingdom, Yaa Nah Abukari Andani II, has commended President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for his pivotal role in restoring peace to the Dagbon region.
Yaa Na made the remarks on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, when the President visited the palace during his tour of the northern region.
He expressed his deep gratitude to Mr. Akufo-Addo for his selfless efforts towards resolving the long-standing chieftaincy dispute in Dagbon, saying his contributions will always be remembered by the people.
Yaa Na also highlighted the strong friendship she had with President Akufo-Addo over the years and expressed that she will miss the bond they shared.
He called the President a trusted friend of Dagbon Kingdom and praised his commitment to peace and development in the region.
Yaa Naa Abukari Andani II commended the President for his peacebuilding efforts and acknowledged President Akufo-Addo’s contribution to the development of the northern region.
He pointed out that the various projects launched under the Akufo-Addo administration, including improvements in infrastructure, education and healthcare, have greatly benefited the people of Dagbon and the entire northern region.
