Zegna has become the latest European luxury brand to set up a retail store at the Rosewood Miramar Beach, a five-star hotel in the upscale resort town of Montecito, California.
This seaside community is home to celebrities such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Ariana Grande, Oprah Winfrey, and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Located in a small bungalow facing the resort’s entrance, the contemporary 505-square-foot space is stocked with the Italian label’s latest menswear collection, designed by Alessandro Sartori. Styles include luxury leisurewear staples like versatile overshirts, formalwear and the iconic triple-stitched leather sneakers. The brand’s made-to-measure service is also available.
The sophisticated interiors are furnished with Mariantonia Ur carpets, handcrafted for Zegna in Sardinia, Italy.

Zegna’s new boutique is located near the recently opened Bottega Veneta store, also located in the Bungalow. The resort also has a Brunello Cucinelli shop off the main lobby, near other stores such as The Webster and Goop Sundries.
This is Zegna’s fourth store in California, with more on the way: Neiman Marcus in Los Angeles is set to convert Zegna into an authorized dealer later this year. In a recent earnings call, Gildo Zegna, grandson of the brand’s founder and chairman and CEO of the Ermenegildo Zegna Group, said the brand plans to open more stores in the U.S.
The Milan-based company said Zegna’s revenue for the first quarter of this year was 282.9 million euros, up 4 percent from the same period last year, driven by key categories such as shoes and leisurewear, which accounted for about 50 percent of the brand’s revenue.
Last year, the company’s revenues, which include its other brands such as Thom Browne and Tom Ford Fashion, totaled approximately 2 billion euros. The company is a publicly traded company and is listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
